GENERAL NOTICES
The following are some of the
highlights printed in the Premium
List. Make sure you read both this
page and the Premium so you have
all the show details.
LEASHES REQUIRED
All dogs are required to be on-leash
at the Royal Canin Ring and Hotel at
all times, except when crated.
NO CONE ZONE
There is no reserved parking, except
for judges and specific vendors.
Therefore, do not place cones in the
parking areas to reserve parking or
other space. If found, they will be
confiscated and you may recover
them at the Trophy Table for a $25
cone placing penalty and recovery
fee!
HANDICAPPED SPACES
The handicapped spaces are for
exhibitors or visitors who need those
spaces due to mobility issues. For
that reason, please do not place ex-
pens or other equipment in
handicapped marked parking spaces
so they are available to those who
need them. For those tempted to
place cones…please see the above
entry regarding the “No Cone Zone”.
Handicapped parking space cannot
be reserved.
OFFICIAL PHOTOGRAPHER
We have a contract with our
photographer to provide services for
our exhibitors. Therefore, only the
official photographer may take win
photos. This also means no
soliciting for photos on the show
grounds before; before, during, or
after the shows. This does not
include personal photos of your
dog(s) taken by you outside the
rings.
DO NOT LEAVE DOGS
UNATTENDED OVERNIGHT
The Main Ballroom will be locked
from 10:00 pm to 6:00 am daily and
WCKC will not take responsibility for
your dog(s) when unattended. The
site security will also refuse
responsibility for dogs left in the
building after closing, and you would
not have access to them overnight.
NO X-PENS INDOORS OR
IN PARKING
Please setup personal x-pens
outdoors, away from the building,
and in grassy areas (e.g., the islands
in parking. This will keep the parking
area open for exhibitor and visitor
parking.
PLEASE PICK UP AFTER
YOUR DOG(S)!
We are guests of the Robert’s
Centre, so please show respect for
the show site, our club, and your
fellow exhibitors by cleaning up after
your dog(s).
Waste containers and bags are
available near the North entrance to
the building.
RINGSIDE CRATING
Ringside crating is allowed just prior
(10 to 15 minutes) to your ring call
until after your classes are done.
Crates must also be on dollies and
do not leave your dog(s) unattended
ringside.
LOST OR ABANDONED
EQUIPMENT
Please mark all your equipment with
your name and phone number, and
ensure you have all your equipment
with you when you leave at the end
of the shows. We will run a “Lost &
Found” at the Club Table during the
events and will do our best during
show hours to find you to return your
items. This, of course, will depend
on if you have marked your name
and phone number on them.
Anything left after the show closes
on Sunday, March 31st, will be
considered a very thoughtful
donation to our club.
Notice: WCKC takes no
responsibility for lost or stolen items.
DOGS LEFT IN ENCLOSED
VEHICLES
This is a Canine health and safety
issue, so, if you leave your dog(s) in
an enclosed vehicle, we will use
whatever means is necessary to
extract them if they are in distress.
Therefore, do not leave your dog(s)
unattended in an enclosed vehicle.
ROYAL CANIN ONLY
Do not sell or advertise any form of
pet food or treat on the show
grounds except for Royal Canin.

permitted within 100 ft of any
building in which the show is
conducted. Also, please be
courteous at night in the RV area
and turn off your generator before
going to bed. Your fellow campers
will surely appreciate it.

begin at 1:00 pm and will be hosted in the rings inside the Main Ballroom. Please drop by and

rate. You are required to put plastic under your crates, which WCKC will provide free of charge
to anyone booked under the WCKC room block.
Grooming
Reserved indoor grooming is offered both days, but you must reserve your spot(s) before March
25, 2024. In previous years, there were spaces available on the day of show, but last year they
sold out before the closing date. So, don’t wait until the last moment before requesting spaces
because once they’re sold, there likely won’t be any additional spaces available.

Once again we’re going to offer Fast CAT at this year’s show. So, if your dog is into lure

Farm Dog and Fetch Certifications
Your dog may be a wonderful companion in your local neighborhood. But how would they
respond to being in a more rural environment with cows, horses, chickens, and other barnyard
situations? This event can answer that question. For more information, [CLICK HERE].
Fetch is a new AKC certification is a pass-fail noncompetitive test. There are four levels (Novice,
Intermediate, Advanced, and Retriever) based on your dog’s ability to retrieve. So, while you
may not have a newspaper or slippers to “fetch”, your dog may be able to bring back a new title.
