GENERAL NOTICES

The following are some of the highlights printed in the Premium List. Make sure you read both this page and the Premium List so you have all the show details.

SETUP

The show site opens for set up on Friday morning at 6:00 am. Vendors and Exhibitors showing in the NOHS or specialty shows may set up on Thursday March 26th from 3:30 pm to 5:00 pm. All exhibitors must be out of the building by 5:00 pm Thursday!

LEASHES REQUIRED

All dogs are required to be on-leash at all times anywhere on the Roberts Centre property, except when crated.

NO CONE ZONE

There is no reserved parking, except for judges, the show staff, and specific vendors. Therefore, do not place cones in the parking areas to reserve parking, grooming, or for pens. If found, the cones will be confiscated and you may recover them at the Trophy Table for a $25 cone placing penalty and recovery fee!

HANDICAPPED SPACES

Handicapped parking spaces are for exhibitors or visitors who need those spaces due to mobility issues. For that reason, please do not place ex- pens or other equipment in handicapped marked parking spaces. For those tempted to place cones…please see the above entry regarding the “No Cone Zone”. Handicapped parking space cannot be reserved.

OFFICIAL PHOTOGRAPHER

As the Official Photographer, only Skibinski Photography is permitted to take photos during the shows without written permission from WCKC. Any solicitation by any other photographer(s) for photos on the show grounds before, during, or after the shows is prohibited. This does not include exhibitors taking personal photos of their dog(s), without judges, using the courtesy backdrop provided by WCKC. No one other than the contracted photographer may take photos inside or outside the rings.

DO NOT LEAVE DOGS

UNATTENDED OVERNIGHT

The Roberts Centre will be locked from 10:00 pm to 6:00 am daily. Therefore, dogs are not allowed in the building during those hours. This means dogs may not be boarded in the ballroom overnight. Please make other arrangements to board them.

NO X-PENS INDOORS OR

IN PARKING

Please setup x-pens outdoors, away from the building, and in grassy areas (e.g., the islands in parking). This will keep the parking area open for exhibitor and visitor parking.

PICK UP AFTER YOUR

DOG(S)

We are guests of the Robert’s Centre, so please show respect for the show site, WCKC, and your fellow exhibitors by cleaning up after your dog(s). Anyone who does not promptly clean up after their dog(s) is subject to a Bench Committee hearing.

RINGSIDE CRATING

Ringside crating is ONLY allowed just prior (10 to 15 minutes) to your ring call until after your classes are done. Crates must be on dollies. Do not leave your dog(s) or equipment unattended ringside!

LOST OR ABANDONED

EQUIPMENT

Please mark all your equipment with your name and phone number, and ensure you have all your equipment with you when you leave at the end of the shows. We will run a “Lost & Found” at the Club Table during the events and will make a reasonable effort to return your lost items. This, of course, will depend on if you have marked your name and phone number on them. Anything left after the show closes on Sunday will be considered a very thoughtful donation to our club. Notice: WCKC and the Roberts Centre take no responsibility for lost or stolen items.

DOGS LEFT IN ENCLOSED

VEHICLES

This is a Canine health and safety issue, so, if you leave your dog(s) unattended in an enclosed vehicle, we will use whatever means is necessary to extract them if, according to our sole discretion, they are in distress. Therefore, do not leave your dog(s) unattended in an enclosed vehicle.

ROYAL CANIN ONLY

Royal Canin is the official sponsor of the Roberts Centre. Therefore, booths, products, activities, and/or advertising materials (e.g. brochures, signage, etc.) representing either pet food or litter products of other companies are not permitted at the Roberts Centre property during the WCKC shows.

GENERATOR PROHIBITION

Gasoline or diesel generators are not permitted within 100 ft of any building in which the show is conducted. Also, please be courteous at night in the RV area and turn off your generator before going to bed. Your fellow campers will surely appreciate it.

Farm Dog and Fetch Certifications

Your dog may be a wonderful companion in your local neighborhood. But how would they respond to being in a more rural environment with cows, horses, chickens, and other barnyard situations? This event can answer that question. For more information, [CLICK HERE]. Fetch is a relatively new AKC certification is a pass-fail noncompetitive test. There are four levels (Novice, Intermediate, Advanced, and Retriever) based on your dog’s ability to retrieve. So, while you may not have a newspaper or slippers to “fetch”, your dog may be able to bring back a new title. For more information, [CLICK HERE] Farm Dog will be held on Friday and Saturday, with Fetch on Sunday only. For the premiums, click here…
